A one-of-a-kind handmade Fairy Door, made of upcycled wood, and adorned with fairy-found objects and trinkets.
This yellow rancher-style house is a beautifully imperfect piece of cedar with a great knot hole window. Above the pink front door is a sparkly orange rosette. The door is embossed with a swirl design, has a tiny gold bee embellishment and small handmade glass bead for a door knob. There is a fairy flower pot on the porch. The roof is made out of split branches.
No two doors are alike. This door is designed to lean up against a fence, tree trunk, planter, or wall, to invite magical beings to come dwell. We’ve heard that fairies like quiet, shady spots… so perhaps peeking out from behind a fern or shrub, would please their need for privacy, and fairy serenity.
The door does not open for people. Only Fairies can open the door! If you live in a climate where nights are frosty, it’s most likely your garden fairy will choose to winter in a warm tropical locale. They would be most grateful if you protected their door from the elements, by bringing it inside, during colder weather.
Each door is hand-crafted. Any knot holes, saw marks, imperfections in the wood, variations of stains in the natural wood, or other imperfections, are part of the door’s rustic and whimsical charm! Fairies are not perfect, you know!
As hard as we try to capture the most accurate colors, every computer monitor and phone screen is different. Please keep that it mind.
