Description
Approximate dimensions are: 10-1/2″ high x 6-1/2″ wide x 4″ deep.
This fairy house is truly a one-of-a-kind handmade Woodland Fairy House, made of reclaimed cherry wood, and adorned with fairy-found objects.
The entranceway is carved into the stem of a magnificent gnarled cherry tree branch. The little arched turquoise door has a vintage jewelry piece and a tiny blue flower bead door knob. There is a little set of stairs leading to the front party patio. And there is a quirky stove pipe topped with an acorn cap. The roof is made from pine cone shingles.
No two houses are alike. This house will invite magical beings to come dwell. We’ve heard that fairies like quiet, shady spots… so perhaps peeking out from behind a fern or shrub, would please their need for privacy, and fairy serenity.
The door does not open for mere mortals. Only Fairies can open the door! If you live in a climate where winters are harsh, it’s most likely your garden fairy will choose to winter in a warm tropical locale. They would be most grateful if you protected their house from the elements, by bringing it in for the winter.
Each door is hand-crafted. Any knot holes, saw marks, imperfections in the wood, variations of stains in the natural wood, or other imperfections, are part of the house’s rustic and whimsical charm! Fairies are not perfect, you know!
As hard as we try to capture the most accurate colors, every computer monitor and phone screen is different. Please keep that it mind.
Ships to Canada & US, from the Vancouver, British Columbia area. This is the very item you will receive, and it is ready to ship in 1-2 business days.
Made from various up-cycled and reclaimed woods, including cherry, mahogany, and cedar.
